Telegram Setup

Messaging integrations are optional. Your assistant works without one — you can chat with it directly from the control panel console.
Easiest — Lowest ban risk

Telegram is the easiest platform to set up. It's bot-friendly by design and has the lowest risk of your bot being banned.

Steps

  1. Open Telegram and start a chat with @BotFather
  2. Send /newbot and follow the prompts to create a bot
  3. BotFather will give you a token — copy it
  4. Go to your assistant's setup wizard (Step 2: Messaging), choose Telegram, and paste the token

Token format

A Telegram bot token looks like: 123456789:ABCDefGhIJKlmNoPQRsTUVwxyz

Testing it

Open Telegram and search for your bot's username. Tap Start, then send it a message. It should respond within a few seconds.

Warning: Your Telegram bot is public. Anyone who finds or searches for its username can message it — and each message costs you money on your AI provider's bill. Consider using a non-obvious bot name.
