Getting Started

Setting up your assistant takes just a couple minutes. Here's an overview of the process.

Step 1: Create your assistant

Sign in and click New Assistant. Give it a name and start your 7-day free trial. We'll set up a dedicated server for you in about a minute.

Step 2: Follow the setup wizard

After your assistant is ready, you'll see a 4-step setup wizard:

  1. API Key — Add an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or another supported AI provider. This is what powers the AI brain of your assistant.
  2. Messaging — Connect a chat app (Telegram, Discord, Slack, or WhatsApp) so you can talk to your assistant.
  3. Persona — Customize your assistant's personality, name, and behavior.
  4. Risk acknowledgment — Review important information about AI limitations and confirm you understand the risks.

Step 3: Start chatting

Once setup is complete, open your chat app and send your assistant a message. It should respond within a few seconds.

Tip: If your assistant doesn't respond, check that your API key is valid and has available credit. You can also try restarting it from the dashboard.
